Pilgrimage

Always wondered where the bird of prey on the underside of the Romulan ships came from. Perhaps an exploding planet, visible from Romulus inspired the image. Newly minted Romulan commanders make a trip to the system to pay their respects, ask for blessing, whatever. Just a thought.
